Virtual Small Group Hypnobirthing Courses

You like the sound of a hypnobirthing course, but you really don’t want to have to leave the house…

You’re excited about baby being here, but you’re overwhelmed by what your friends have been telling you about the birth itself.
You’re avoiding going on lunchbreak with your work colleagues because you know you’re going to hear negative birth stories.
Everything you’ve heard about birth so far makes you feel anxious and afraid.
You want to be prepared for birth, but getting out of the house right now is just another thing on your plate.
You’ve heard of hypnobirthing, and think that it sounds perfect for you, but you’re not prepared to give up cosy evenings in your PJs to do your birth prep.

You are unprepared for the most important event in your life because it’s all too much.

…enter the She Bears Virtual Signature Hypnobirthing Course

Learn to focus only on the positive birth stories you hear.
Learn to make decisions about your birth with confidence.
Feel fully supported in planning your birth.

Frequently asked questions

There are so many hypnobirthing courses out there, why should I choose yours?

All hypnobirthing courses should broadly cover the same content. There are plenty of hypnobirthing practitioners out there for you to choose from. We all fundamentally believe in the power of hypnobirthing and want to help you to have the best birth experience possible. So how do you choose the right person to teach you? Well, in my opinion it comes down to trusting your instincts on who feels like the right fit. Explore websites, talk to people who have taken a course, look at social media, or talk to the practitioner themselves to get a feel for them. To see some reasons why I might be a good fit for you, check out this page.

When should I take the course?

I usually recommend that couples start a course when they are between 20 and 32 weeks pregnant, but you can start earlier. If you start earlier then you will give yourself lots of time to practice the techniques and listen to the hypnosis tracks.

If you are over 32 weeks, then take a look at my private hypnobirthing courses that you can do in the comfort of your own home as these can be completed more quickly at mutually convenient times.

What if I miss a class?

You will not receive a refund for any missed classes, except in exceptional circumstances (for example if your baby is born early). If you miss a class there are two possible options:

1. If there is space on the next course, you may attend the class you missed at no extra charge. This will only be confirmed 2 calendar days before the course start date.

2. If there is no space on the next course, you can use the handouts given to you to study has much as possible at home or you can pay for a 1-2-1 power hour session with me during which we can go over the content that you have missed. The cost of this session is £50.

Is there a difference between the virtual and the in-person course?

The course content in both the in-person and virtual course is exactly the same. The only major differrence is that I can’t offer hands-on demonstrations for the virtual course, so there are some videos to watch instead.

What a thorough, held, thoughtful space you created for me and my birth partner. I learnt such an enormous amount, and while of course pregnancy and the prospect of giving birth is daunting, you put us at our ease, with humour, gentleness, empathy and a bespoke kindness.

This has really helped me to understand what to expect and different techniques and ways I can help Izzy during labour. The materials provided are also incredibly helpful to refer back to and use. Thanks for the course, really enjoyable and informative.
